Brattleboro Police and Brattleboro Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the area of 299 Sunset Lake Road, on Tuesday.
At the scene, police found a 2000 Ford pickup truck with extensive damage in a ditch on the east side of the road. Three injured men were outside the vehicle and police determined they had been occupants of the vehicle. All three were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, but Police did not release information regarding the nature or extent of their injuries.
The vehicle had struck a telephone pole and damaged it. CVPS and Fairpoint responded to the scene to repair the pole.
Police suspected that alcohol and speed played a role in the collision, but they did not know which of the occupants was the driver at the time of the collision.
